Summary
 

SEC Energy Products & Services L.P. is a full service packaging and fabrication company, and distribution partner for companies such as Ariel and Caterpillar.  SEC designs and manufactures compressor packages and a variety of fabricated products for the midstream market including but not limited to separators, dehydrators, storage tanks, pig launchers & receivers, fuel gas regulating skids, fuel gas metering skids, crude metering skids and condensate stabilizers.  SEC also provides a full range of services to complement the manufactured equipment including revamp of compressor packages, parts, field service, commissioning services, shop overhaul services, engineering and construction, and full turnkey installation services.  Our products and services are marketed and delivered to the entire energy marketplace, which includes our parent company.  SEC has a small company, entrepreneurial vibe, although our team has the opportunity to work with world-class customers and business partners on significant natural gas and processing industry infrastructure projects.  Our employees are the best in the business at responding to our customer’s changing business needs, flexible and responsive to get them back up and running the fastest. This positon will be responsible for providing administrative support services to the Technical Services group, including a warehouse support role requiring considerable knowledge of Logistical Shipping Processes, Order Entry and Receiving.

 
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:

  • Support supervisors / mechanics / department.

  • Meeting coordination, to include scheduling, reservations and travel arrangements for area manager and supervisors

  • Process incoming inventory and receiving activities

  • Monitor and control the filing system folders both electronic and paper

  • Work closely with Area Manager and assist as needed

  • Create a goods receipt for all PO transactions upon receiving POD

  • Open and route incoming mail, work with outside vendors, and handle special projects as required

  • Must be able to work overtime or weekends, as needed

  • Strong customer communication skill set

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • High school diploma or GED;
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

  • Demonstrated organization, attention to detail and communication skills;

  • Ability to manage work load independently and deliver timely and accurate results;

  • Capable of working well under restricted timelines and in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment; and ability to provide excellent customer service across all levels of the organization

Preferred Requirements:
  • Two+ years of experience in progressive administrative support roles

  • Five+ years of experience in warehouse and shipping logistics roles

  • SAP experience 

Working Conditions

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Work within office, assembly and fabrication shop, and field environments.   

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. 

  • Occasional travel, estimated at 15-20%, may be required

  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
