Analyst – Power Solutions
Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with or ability to learn billing, financial processes, and varying levels of operational, budgetary, and financial analysis.
- Experience with or ability to learn large volume databases and software systems.
- Excellence in the following skills – organizational, communication (both oral and written), attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize one’s workload and being able to work cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- As we are a highly collaborative organization this position is fully on-site at our Downtown Houston Office.
Preferred experience:
- Experience working with ERCOT, PJM and energy utilities for account creation and support.
- Working knowledge of software systems including databases and transactional support software
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Associate Analyst level requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 0-2 years of relevant job-related experience.
- The Analyst level requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job-related experience.
- The Senior Analyst level requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of relevant job-related experience.
- The Lead Analyst level requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job-related experience.
Working Conditions:

Usually, normal office working conditions.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
