Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Midstream Process Specialist to join our Business Development team. This role serves as a steppingstone to Business Development or other midstream roles within our company. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of terminal operations and customer-related issues, while collaborating on complex process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Interpretation:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Translate complex data findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop new ways to improve and automate manual reporting efforts.
- Process and Systems Optimization:
- Integrate Midstream assets into Invoice and Inventory system.
- Work with Business Development and Accounting to request and scope improvements to current systems and processes.
- Customer & Operations Support:
- Work closely with the operations and Business Development teams to identify and address billing issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving accounting challenges through data-driven solutions.
- Act as a liaison between Business Development and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and accurate invoicing.
- Business Development Support:
- Support the Business Development team in identifying market trends, customer behaviors, and business opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support Midstream Management and Finance Departments for monthly reporting data and reports.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to drive business growth and improve customer experience.
- Contribute to the development of analytical models and tools that enhance business processes.
Participate in the terminal integration process.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree and 2-5 years of relevant work experience

- Technical Skills:
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial models a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
