The Business Optimization group facilitates strategic cross-functional alignment, collaboration, and successful delivery of enterprise programs leveraging change management practices to drive successful business outcomes.  Enterprise Program Management is a workstream within the Business Optimization group.  The Project Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating projects within enterprise programs, as well as analyzing, monitoring, tracking and project reporting. This role focuses on coordinating the efforts with key business stakeholders, IT, and project/program teams to ensure business objectives are met.  This role provides the opportunity to work closely with the Business Optimization management team and business leaders throughout the organization.  In doing so, the candidate is expected to build and maintain lasting working relationships with all business stakeholders.   This position requires all employees to exercise confidentiality where applicable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Ability to provide analytical support on multiple projects simultaneously within the program life cycle to drive project success
  • Communicate, document, and collaborate with internal and external customers as needed regarding project and program deliverables
  • Create, manage, and timely modify project documents, including, but not limited to, project schedules, project plans, risk and issues logs, and status reports
  • Collect, analyze, consolidate, and disseminate project information among project team members and counterparts
  • Assists with timely resolution of critical project issues through issue tracking, management escalation, and final resolution
  • Provide project support to PM’s of other teams to ensure overall business needs are being met for company initiatives
  • Create and maintain relationships across the organization
  • Provide project and program support on organizational initiatives as needed

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience preferred. 

Minimum Experience:

  • Knowledgeable in Project Management best practices
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers as well as all levels of management
  • Able to set and conduct management routines to keep teams on track with established, aggressive timelines
  • Critical decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior work with within the oil & gas industry would be a plus, not required. 
  • Experience working in a Program or Project office as an analyst or project manager preferred
  • PMP Certification with current / working knowledge and experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Jira, SharePoint, Visio, SmartSheets, etc.)

Job level of candidate is commensurate with experience:

  • Analyst level requires 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • Senior Analyst level requires 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • Lead Analyst level requires 8+ years of relevant job related experience
