Analyst - Master Data
Requirements: Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills and abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below.
Must be familiar with data applications; understand and adhere to strict procedures due to financial implications of downstream data; have strong communications skills (verbal and written); and be effective in communicating, coordinating and implementing data updates and adding new data elements. Strong business computer skills and the ability to learn new tasks efficiently.
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience commensurate with level below.
- Proven analytical and judgment skills; extremely detail-oriented.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel with the ability to learn numerous software packages.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills including the ability to positively interface with vendors, contractors, IT, management, and peer
- Good organization skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently while achieving deadlines and effectively communicating project status.
- Be a proactive, solution-oriented self-starter with the ability to quickly assemble the big picture.
- Must be willing to provide after-hours support as necessary.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
- The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics descibed here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
1. Usually, normal office working conditions.
2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
3. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
