Summary:

This is an entry level position within the Lease Acquisition Marketing Group that supports Account Managers in researching oil purchase and competitor economics.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide analytical support to the Account Managers in the Lease Acquisition Marketing team.
  • Prepare economic and customer analysis
  • Interface with the trucking and accounting departments to resolve ticketing and billing issues 
  • Provide first line of support to customers to answer questions.
  • Assist with the research and analysis required for contract negotiations.
  • Work with various levels of management internally and externally to resolve issues.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 0 - 2 years of relevant work experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven analytical skills and proficient computer applications knowledge.
  • Must have excellent prioritization and time management skills, and must be deadline oriented.
  • Must be a self- motivated and able to work independently without close supervision.
  • Ability to assemble and present marketing data to both internal and external customers.
  • This position requires incumbent to perform accurate administrative functions and be able to work effectively with all departments within organization.
  • Extensive external customer contact either in person or by phone is required
  • Some overnight and extensive day travel is required.

 

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.

  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
