Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 Customer Service

  • Provides customer service by responding to Supplier inquiries and concerns.
  • Serves customers by maintaining our philosophy of going above and beyond, supported by a value proposition that every situation will be handled in a timely manner.
  • Represents Company interests with the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Monitors the performance of the fuel and accounting systems by ensuring feeds and processes are running as scheduled and performing as expected related areas of responsibility.
  • Identifies researches and resolves all processing errors related to fuel purchases and freight related to rack transactions, dealer and bulk plant sites.
  • Interfaces with multiple internal departments as well as field personnel to resolve fuel purchases, fuel receipts and fuel inventory matters timely and accurately.
  • Researches and resolves missing fuel receipt information.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing and summarizing information as needed.
  • Review monthly purchase accruals for accuracy.
  • Performs other various duties as assigned.

Performs a variety of regular and recurring accounting functions, including but not limited to securing financial operations by performing daily reconciliations ensuring financials are reported timely and accurately. Responsible for addressing and resolving basic to advanced issues regarding inventory receipts, escalated by Suppliers and Internal Departments. Responsible for providing support to operations, general accounting (and related departments), internal & external audit and the tax departments. The Associate Accountant will also be required to be self-driven and willing to assist the team in order to meet common goals and deadlines.


  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
  • 0-2 years accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail oriented

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Preferred Qualifications:

Analytical Skills – Read and understand financial, inventory and other business reports; draw conclusions for decision-making.

  • Deadline and Budget Management – Actively manage timeline and expectations; convert concepts into closure and results; no job is left undone.

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
