Summary:  This position works in the Interstate Contract Administration Group reporting to the Director, Contract Administration.  This position supports the following interstate pipelines: Transwestern Pipeline, Fayetteville Express Pipeline and ET Tiger Pipeline, and is responsible for processing requests for transportation contracts, establishing receipt/delivery points and legal entities for transportation contracts.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as customer contact to initiate transportation contracts.
  • Works closely with Commercial Representatives to validate deal terms for entry in the Transfer system and generation of contract documents.

  • Processes point realignment amendments through capacity approval and amendment execution.

  • Routes contracts for required approvals with Legal, Facility Planning, Credit, and SVP Commercial.

  • Establishes new legal entities in M+ system, coordinates credit and set-up of entity in accounting system (SAP).

  • Works on tight deadlines to allow customers to nominate at desired scheduling cycle (five cycles per day).

  • Administration of Capacity Release in compliance with tariff and FERC requirements.

  • Responsible for administering postings to the pipelines’ Informational Postings websites.

  • Responsible for Firm and Interruptible Transactional Reporting on the pipelines’ Information Postings website and compliance with FERC regulations.

  • Prepares and scans contract documents to the FileNet system.

  • Establishes security access for external customers to the Transfer system.

  • Jointly responsible for the maintenance of contract rate information in the Transfer system.

  • Reviews and posts pursuant to FERC requirements each pipelines Index of Customers on a quarterly basis.

  • Rotating weekend on-call coverage.
  • Occasional after-hours, weekend or holiday work is required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.



 

 

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting or related area or additional equivalent experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience.
  • Customer service skills and/or experience.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in high-stress environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with various groups internally and externally.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Contracts and/or gas industry experience a plus.
Working Conditions:
  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
