Responsible for analytical support for the wholesale business and rack analysis across the entity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze site level financials and provide recommendations to management
  • Support monthly close and forecast process for the division
  • Successful candidate should be driven to succeed while working independently and able to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with sales team and broader finance team to provide financial reporting, budget and projections that align with broader company goals
  • Assure accuracy of financial reporting and projections
  • Help create and produce operational reports aimed to assist management in identifying underlying issues affecting site level profitability
  • Assist in monthly close and forecast process to explain variances and develop projections
  • Support varying ad hoc analysis for sales and management meetings
  • Investigate data integrity issues and work to correct any problems identified
  • Support ad hoc analysis on an as needed basis throughout the department


Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelors in Finance or related business field or core related business experience
  • 0-2 years of finance or related business experience
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to clearly link financial results to operation performance drivers
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to ad hoc needs as they arise
  • Proficient use of financial systems and analysis tools including Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of oil and gasoline markets

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
