Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for tracking financial performance of General & Administrative (G&A) expense, forecasting, headcount analysis. Assists and supports short and long-term G&A expense planning activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed variance analysis of actual financial results versus plan, forecast, and key performance metrics
  • Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance management reporting of G&A expense for senior management
  • Support the company-wide annual G&A expense planning process and subsequent monthly forecasting process
  • Provide support for earnings releases, 10-K, 10-Q, and other external financial reporting
  • Ad-hoc analysis as needed
  • Contribute to overall Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team goals as needed


Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • 0-2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Cost Control, or related role
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must be highly proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Self-starter with ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent Communication Skills

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
