Co-Op Project Engineer
Minimum Requirements:
• Undergraduate student in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred (Chemical or Electrical Engineering acceptable).
• Self-motivated individual with a high level of initiative.
• Position requires the ability to balance multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, the ability to prioritize tasks, and the ability to shift established priorities in response to changing business needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships.
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• The ability to work in office and field locations.
Special Considerations:
The successful candidate will be exposed to Energy Transfer’s aggressive growth strategy, which has led to multi-billion dollars of spending in expansion projects over each of the last several years. Experience will be gained in the following areas:
• Piping, pumps, valves, tanks, control systems
• Refined products, crude oil, and NGL product distribution
• Industry project processes and controls
• Hands-on participation in projects that have real impact to the Company’s bottom line
