Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  •        Experience in the utility industry in account set-ups, billing error corrections, and disconnection preferred.
  •        Working with ERCOT either directly or through a specialized third-party regarding account establishment and management.
  •        Working knowledge of cooperatives, municipalities, regulated and unregulated electric utilities and the unique attributes and constraints of each.
  •        Knowledge of accounting and treasury functions and information requirements.
  •        Develop data templates in spreadsheets and databases.
  •       Strong Communication Skills – Written and Verbal required as need to communicate both internally and externally with ROW Agents, Project Managers, Utility Representatives, etc.
  •        Ability to work with a team in a high-paced environment.
  •        Ability to prioritize one’s workload and being able to work cross-functionally.
  •        Oil and Gas experience and/or contract management experience are preferred.

 Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

The Coordinator level requires a Highschool diploma or equivalent experience and 0-2 years of relevant job related experience.

The Sr Coordinator level requires a Highschool diploma or equivalent experience and 2+ years of relevant job-related experience.

The Lead Coordinator level requires a Highschool diploma or equivalent experience and 5+ years of relevant job-related experience.

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

Usually, normal office working conditions.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Some initial travel to San Antonio for training purposes will be required. 

Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
