Key Business Objectives:

The Coordinator- Environmental reports to the Manager – Environmental. The Coordinator – Environmental will coordinate with and provide support to the Environmental and Operations teams, Engineering, Sales/Marketing, and Manufacturing personnel to ensure compliance with all environmental requirements and programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team of Environmental Professionals to ensure that Operations teams comply with applicable environmental regulations, permits, authorizations and agreements.

  • Assist with applying company environmental standards effectively and consistently across areas of responsibility to ensure environmental compliance.

  • Assist in the coordination of and provide technical support to Operations, Engineering, Sales/Marketing and Manufacturing personnel.

  • Assist Environmental/Operational Teams to respond to Customer requests on detailed equipment operational parameters.

  • Coordinate information exchange between Operations and Customers for proposed emission testing and reporting.

  • Assist Environmental/Operational Teams with updates to Master Data File in SAP.

  • Assist Environmental management in planning training or company events as required.

  • Provide reports in various formats as required to support short-term and long-term objectives.

  • Ensure unit files are maintained and organized.

  • Ensure the office area is organized and office equipment is properly maintained.

  • Provide support or lead miscellaneous projects to achieve company goals as required.

  • Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Full-time hourly position.

Skills / Capabilities and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft’s suite of applications as well as SAP.

  • Experience with handling large volumes of data in spreadsheets and working with process historians to ensure the highest level of data integrity and transparency.

  • Customer service oriented.

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to understand written and verbal communication from the company and supervisor including training, procedures, instructions, etc.

  • Ability to problem solve.

  • Strong clerical and organizational skills.

  • Ability to create effective and concise reports.

  • Excellent numerical perception.

  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

  • Applicant must have the ability to legally work in the U.S. 

Working Conditions:

  • Conditions are normal office settings.

  • Travel up to 15% can be expected across USAC’s regional offices and field locations.

  • Periodic lifting requirements up to 25 pounds.

  • Working extended hours as required in emergencies or on projects.

  • Dynamic, fast-paced, demanding environment.

  • The incumbent spends the majority of time sitting or standing in a comfortable position with ample opportunity to move about.

  • All interactions must be dealt with in a courteous and professional manner.
