Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in crude oil and/or product pipeline movements.
  • 2 - 5 years of related experience
  •  Excellent communications skills (verbal and written), and good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills required
  • Must be extremely flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes resulting from pipeline interruptions or refinery changes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills required.
  • Proficiency using PC applications, specifically Excel
  • Ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in product movements in the pipeline industry or related fields.
  • Industry experience is preferred; however, not required.
  • Must have strong customer focus, leadership skills, be team orientated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Working Conditions:

    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

     

    • Usually, normal office working conditions. Responsible for providing 24-hr on-call support for area of responsibility including weekends and holidays.
    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
    • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
    • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
