Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Minimum 12 years related experience with detailed knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, RRC, ANSI, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API and GPA requirements and procedures 
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred. Work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Demonstrated ability to act independently and to meet deadlines

  • Ability to quickly gain knowledge and comprehension of new technical subject matter areas

  • Experience with collective bargaining agreements would be beneficial

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision-making, communications, and technical management skills
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of employees and customers, both internal and external

 

Work Environment

 

The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential job functions of this job:

  • Usually works in an office environment, however will travel to field locations as needed
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
