Engineer - Butane Blending Controls
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:B.S. degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
- 3-6 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of industry safety practices and relevant codes.
- Ability to develop and present multiple alternatives to an individual problem or situation.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills; good organizational skills.
- Wonderware System Platform application programming and configuration
- Rockwell Logix5000 programming and configuration experience.
- Server configuration and hardware troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of virtualization concepts and design including Microsoft Windows Server configuration.
- Familiarity with local and wide area networking concepts including network
- Familiarity with local and wide area networking concepts including network topologies, switch configuration and network security concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of NFPA 70, and other standards related to oil and gas industry
- Knowledge Microsoft SQL Server as well as virtualization using VMware.
Working Conditions:

- Normal office working conditions with approximately 50% of the time in the field.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

- Overnight travel will be required.
- Position is based in industrial settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
