Engineer (Integrity/MAOP)
Requirements : Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills and abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
• BS Engineering with concentration in Civil, Mechanical or Metallurgical or related degree
• Minimum of 3- 6 years’ experience working in pipeline operations, pipeline design and pipeline integrity; six plus years of experience desirable in pipeline repair and pipeline integrity issues such as corrosion control, pipeline assessment and fitness for service evaluation, risk management, DOT Code requirements and compliance.
• The position requires a candidate with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A highly developed ability with PC’s and office computer software is required.
• Must be a self-starter and self-motivator, ability to perform effectively with minimal supervision
Working Conditions:
1. Usually, normal office working conditions.
2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
3. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
4. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
5. Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
