Engineer - Process
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (pref. Chemical, Mechanical, or Natural Gas)
- See below for years of relevant job experience
- General understanding of Process Engineering Principles, Methodologies, and Tools
- Design, optimization, and operation of gathering and processing systems, including gas gathering networks, compression, treating, cryogenic processing, residue gas handling, and NGL recovery.
- Industry Codes and their application: API, ASME, NFPA, OSHA PSM
- Engineering Process Simulation Programs (ProMax, Hysys, etc.)
- Microsoft Office Suite applications
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Associate Engineer level requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 0-3 years of relevant job related experience
- The Engineer level requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 3-6 years of relevant job related experience
The Senior Engineer level requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 6-10 years of relevant job related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the requirements listed above, we value candidates with any of the following qualifications:
- Experience with Gathering & Processing across Gas and Liquid commodities
- Experience with PSM facilities and PHA/LOPA processes
- Operations, Maintenance or Technical Operations experience in the Midstream industry
- Commercial experience in the Midstream industry
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, etc)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate

- Required to live within 45 minutes of the reporting location.
- Normal office working conditions and field work
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment will occur.
