Environmental/Permitting Manager
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience including experience in a lead/supervisory level
- Experience in the environmental compliance profession
- Knowledge of FERC and PHMSA requirements for LNG plant construction
- Understanding and awareness of LNG project execution and design
- Knowledge of applicable Federal & State Air, Water, Solid/Hazardous Waste, and Wastewater regulations or requirements.
- Must possess strong troubleshooting, problem solving, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to perform in a fast paced ever changing environment, and simultaneously manage numerous activities at once.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment or independently as the workload requires.
- Experience and competency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or related discipline
- 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in a relevant industry
- 8+ years of environmental experience
- Proficient knowledge of applicable Air, Solid Waste, and Wastewater regulations and requirements.
