Field Tech A
Essential Requirements: Experience, Educational & Special Training Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
At least two to four years of experience of practical, mechanical, experience working on rotating equipment
Upkeep and replacement of pipeline valves, actuators and pumps
Good organizational skills, good customer relations skills, and a record of very positive work performance
Read and understand repair manuals, procedures and standards
Maintain and adhere to required Company Training, Company Policies and Procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills:
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing applications preferred.
Work well with others and also be able to perform work independently.
Vocational Tech certificates or equipment specific training preferred
Special Characteristics/Job Requirements:
- Must have a good driving record.
Dynamic, fast-paced, demanding environment
Work extended hours as required in emergencies, on projects or outages.
This position will require overtime, weekends, nights, holiday and on-call schedule

• Lifting up to 75 lbs. occasionally• Driving, walking, and standing frequently
• Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
• Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
• Occasional overnight travel may be required
