Essential Requirements: Experience, Educational & Special Training Required

  • Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required. 
  • Minimum of 4 years I&E Tech experience.

 

Preferred Skills:     

•Possess a strong background in instrumentation and experience with PLC control systems.

•Working knowledge of the operation and maintenance requirements for reciprocating natural gas compressors and auxiliary equipment.

•Associates degree or equivalent in Instrumentation and Electronics   

Knowledge / Hands on experience of Foxboro Systems, Wonderware software,  Murphy Panels,  Altronic Panels, Electrical Switchgear, Pneumatic controls, calibrating transmitters, Control Valve Maintenance, Running stainless tubing / electrical conduit

     

 

Special Characteristics/Job Requirements:

Subject to hazardous conditions including escaping gas, adverse weather conditions and temperatures, heights, high-pressure gas, heavy lifting, and cramped conditions.

•May be required to travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, and training involving some overnights stays away from home.

•Must reside within 30 minutes of the reporting work location.

•Subject to call out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and extended workdays and/or workweeks. Is required to carry a cell phone. Position also requires availability for rotating on-call schedule.

•Must have a proven safe driving record.

•Position is subject to U.S. Department of Transportation Drug & Alcohol related regulations. New hires to the Company will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and are subject to a background check.

May be required to travel 20% of the time outside of designated work area
