Intern – Process Engineering (North Louisiana / East Texas)

This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2026. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
Intern – Process Engineering (North Louisiana / East Texas)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Intern Level):
- Support small capital and operations-driven projects in the North Louisiana and East Texas area, helping the team stay aligned with project scope, budget, and timelines.
- Assist with updating and maintaining Process Safety Information (PSI) for area facilities, including P&IDs, PFDs, and related documentation.
- Help coordinate with operations personnel, outside vendors, and contractors during various stages of project work.
- Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) activities tied to project development and implementation, such as design reviews, PHA discussions, MOC documentation, and team training sessions.
- Work alongside Staff Process Engineers to support project development that meets engineering standards, code compliance, and company safety requirements.
- Collaborate with plant operations personnel on troubleshooting and improving day-to-day plant operations.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, contribute to team discussions, and grow technical knowledge in process engineering.
- Take initiative in expanding engineering skills and sharing learnings with the team when appropriate.

Students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Petroleum, or related Engineering
Strong problem-solvers with curiosity, drive, and teamwork skills

Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency with MS Office
