Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

 This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2025. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.  

 Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and hard-working Intern -summer program to join our team! The position will support our Sunoco Branding & Imaging team 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As a Branding & Imaging Intern, you will be involved in the following key areas:

    • Project Management Support: Assist in tracking branding projects and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in accordance with forecasts. Help maintain project schedules and assist with resource allocation to ensure smooth execution of branding initiatives.
    • Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Help manage vendor/contractor performance by assisting in communication and monitoring project milestones. Ensure that branding projects meet the specified standards and timelines.
    • Capital Spend Tracking: Support the tracking and reporting of capital spend to ensure budget accuracy. Assist in updating project forecasts and maintaining budget documentation.
    • Process Improvement: Assist in identifying and addressing bottlenecks in project workflows, offering suggestions for improved processes and streamlining timelines.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams (marketing, sales, operations) to ensure brand consistency and alignment on project goals. Help maintain communication with external vendors and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
    • Reporting & Documentation: Help create and maintain reports tracking project progress, capital spend, and other key metrics to support decision-making and process improvement efforts.
    • Branding Standards Compliance: Ensure all branding and imaging projects comply with Sunoco’s standards and procedures, helping ensure consistency across locations.

 

  • Requirements:
    Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

    • Currently enrolled in college majoring in business or marketing
    • Preferably junior status as of Fall 2025
    • General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.
    • Above average GPA
  • Additional Attributes:
    • Strong interest in branding, project management, and process optimization.
    • A willingness to learn and grow within the project management and branding field.
    • Ability to engage with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders effectively.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship or work experience in marketing, project management, branding, or related fields is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Trello) is beneficial but not required.
  • Knowledge or interest in capital budgeting, vendor management, and tracking project spend would be advantageous.
  • Interest or experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required

 

Additional Information:

  • This position will be based in Dallas, TX at our Park Lane Office for the duration of the summer internship.
  • Interns will have the opportunity to support both corporate-level and field-level branding projects, working alongside senior project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (if necessary) is a plus (travel <5%).
  • The internship will provide exposure to both the creative and operational aspects of branding and project management in a large-scale business environment.
