IT Manager - Oracle | HANA| BigData Database Services
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with skills to manage & support IT Services. Carries 8+ years of experience in the field of Database Management Service with Oracle, HANA and Bigdata.
- Hands on Oracle, HANA and Bigdata Database Administration: 8+ years
- Conversant with structured query language (SQL) and relevant Oracle, HANA and Bigdata technologies
- Understand Oracle, HANA and Bigdata Database Architectures and is ITIL Certified
- Is certified in Oracle, HANA, Bigdata and related Database Security
- A good understanding of Energy Transfer Business Model, and cultural fit
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills working with experts, and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good communication up the organization, with cross organization collaboration experience
- Familiar and eager to be challenged with other RDBMS technologies
- Experience leading a skilled and stable Oracle, HANA and Bigdata DBA team
- Has soft skills, negotiation skills and practices patience in stressful situations.
Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
1. Usually, normal office working conditions.
2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
3. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
4. Occasional lifting of 5 - 10 pounds.
