Provide support to internal and external customers in the operations required in the transportation of natural gas on the Florida Gas Transmission system. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responds to data requests from auditors and internal/external customers.

  • Provides pricing and financial analysis on a weekly and as needed basis to Marketing and Accounting teams, and others on a as needed basis.

  • Interacts with Contracts, Gas Control, Market Services and Marketing teams to effectively operate the pipeline.

  • Interacts with Information Technology and Market Services teams to ensure accuracy of imbalances, revenue billing and all nominations, confirmations, scheduling matters including EDI.

  • Strives to help the business unit achieve goals set by the Commercial Marketing group.

  • Provides coverage for Commercial Marketing team on financial reports and customer interactions.

  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and required to be on-call on a rotational basis. 



Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor's degree or additional equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High skill set in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI a plus


Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • The Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience


Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of natural gas pipeline tariffs, contracts, operations and/or gas accounting.

Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, FGT's tariff, TMS system, RRS system, Oracle or SAP system a plus.

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
