Lead Coordinator - Security
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: 5+ years in security/military/law enforcement
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Team leadership experience
- Ability to cover all shifts when necessary

- Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions and the actions of the security team.
- Verbal and Written Communication Skills – Ability to effectively communicate with security guards as well as company employees, visitors, emergency personnel, etc.
- Accuracy – Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Problem Solving – Ability to resolve security related problems pertinent to
- Applied Learning – Ability to participate in and implement needed learning activities
- Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
- Organized – Being structured or following a systematic method of providing leadership to the security team.
- Patience – Ability to act calmly under stress and strain, and of not being hasty
- Reliability – The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of personal security, customer relations, industrial security and related communication appliances.
Working Conditions:

- Usually, normal office working conditions
- Physical Demands may require you to lift, bend, stand, climb and/or reach above shoulder level
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work nights
- Outdoor Environment: dependent on weather conditions; hot/cold; rain/shine; dust/pollen; loud noises; fumes and working with petroleum and other chemicals
Work Schedule
- Shifts cover 24/7 operation; work schedules may vary as business dictates.
