Required Education:
  • BS Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related.
Required experience:
  • 10+ Years of Related Experience in EPA, state environmental, OSHA, and DOT compliance.
  • Experience in managing and monitoring environmental compliance at bulk storage and blending terminals.
  • Experience in developing and presenting HES training.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in interacting and working successfully with all levels within an organization.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, databases, etc.).
  • Current RCRA and DOT training.
  • Professional certification.
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful HES programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Technical expertise in reading and interpreting federal and state environmental regulations.
  • Experience in project management and organizational management.

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Driving, walking, and standing frequently
  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
  • Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
