Summary:

This position is in the Contract Administration Group reporting to the Sr. Director of Contract Administration and supports the Crude and Produced Water Commercial Group.  The position involves leading other administrators in all aspects of performing Contract Administration for the Crude/Water business line which includes gathering, long-haul pipeline and terminal assets along with the marketing function. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Lead team of administrators, currently 3 people 
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in order to assist Commercial teams
  • Assist in drafting of contracts, amendments and other documents related to the above business line
  • Assist with moving Crude/Water business line into new Agiloft system
  • Set-up contracts and related meta-data in Agiloft
  • Review 3rd party paper as received
  • Work with counterparties to obtain the required documentation to get them approved in preparation for commercial business and settlements
  • Handle routing and storage of all documents
  • Support Legal Department in their document needs, to include some drafting
  • Monitor volume throughput commitment
  • Manage FileNet to Agiloft conversion project to ensure appropriate storage of all documents
  • Support commercial/accounting in monitoring contract terms
  • Support commercial/scheduling in sending various contract notifications
  • Meet SOX requirements as established for this department

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 8+ years experience in the industry in lieu of a degree

·         8+ years of experience including 7+ years of Industry or Contract Management experience preferred for all applicants

·         Strong Word & Excel skills

·         Strong computer and research skills

·         Strong organizational skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisor experience preferred
  • Crude and/or Gathering experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Synthesis, Entero, FileNet, Agiloft and/or Right Angle Systems would be beneficial
  • Ability to take initiative and add value to processes
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with various groups internally and external
  • Ability to multi-task

 

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

·         Usually, normal office working conditions.

·         Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

·         Occasional overnight travel may be required.
