Summary:  Manages the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for Energy Transfer Corporate Offices and sites in multiple states and leads the inventory management function   

  • Manage BCP in Energy Transfer corporate offices and sites in multiple states.
  • Coordination of BCP business plan updates, Business Impact Analysis (BIA’s) updates, and Information Technology (IT) technical BCP run book updates.
  • Administrator of Energy Transfer’s third-party BCP web-based application.
  • Create and maintain BCP training plans.
  • Support Pipeline Control in Houston office, along with backup Pipeline Control room locations in Houston and Dallas.
  • Lead effort to relocate Pipeline Control and other Energy Transfer critical functions to backup sites in Houston and Dallas in the event of any normal business disruptions.
  • Create and execute BCP testing – critical applications and backup location testing.
  • Keep current with BCP trends by attending BCP training and related conferences.
  • Provides 7x24 on-call support for any emergency which may require activation of all or part of the Energy Transfer BCP.
  • Leads the inventory management function for the department, overseeing the development and implementation of strategies for the effective management, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's inventory.
  • Maintain inventory management systems to accurately track stock levels, deliveries, and shipments
  • Lead inventory audits and analyses
  • Lead and develop the BCP and inventory management team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant job experience.
  • BCP certification – CBCP, MBCP, MBCI, etc. preferred.
  • Administrator-level knowledge of Infinite Blue’s Business Continuity in the Cloud web-based BCP application preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of BCP principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple BCP-related projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of IT applications, server hardware, networking, and data movement and replication as related to the BCP.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with inventory management software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and related technology
  • Strong documentation skills including procedure creation documents.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and improve processes.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals.
