Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  •   A minimum of 8 years’ experience in pipeline and/or facility measurement.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of the company from represented meter proving technicians up to the Vice-Presidents of Measurement, Operations and Engineering.
  • Ability to establish, defend and implement a coherent long-range capital program that meets the changing needs of ET's measurement practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to promptly analyze measurement problems, identify the root causes, and make concrete proposals to resolve measurement issues by implementation of corrective actions that are remedial and preventative.
  • Must be able to write clearly, as the position will have responsibility to analyze measurement problems and to create reports that will be shared with a wide internal audience, and which, at times will be shared with external companies and organizations.
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of API and GPA measurement policies and be familiar with the best industry measurement practices.
  • Ability to independently establish work priorities that are in line with overall department goals.
  • Must possess strong decision-making ability.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external customers, especially on issues that will have significant financial impact to all of the involved parties and companies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline highly preferred.
