Manager - PSM (Process Safety Management)
Minimum Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 8+ years’ operational experience within a PSM regulated Process Industry facility
- Project management and/or leadership experience in process related business
- Demonstrated public speaking skills
- Proficient with standard Microsoft Office software
Preferred Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- College bachelors (BS or BA) degree
- Familiarity with Management Systems
- Experience in organizing and leading project teams
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Proficient at interpreting and implementing regulatory provisions and technical guidelines
- Champion and proponent of standards and procedures
Working Conditions
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of this job
- Usually normal office environment working conditions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
- Occasional visits to petrochemical manufacturing/refining process settings may be required which could cause exposure to hazardous materials such as combustible, flammable, toxic, carcinogenic and other chemical substances, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud noise exposures
