Summary:

This position will provide support to the measurement group to assure that Energy Transfer's best practices and procedures are followed for the partnership, as well as our customers. 

Essential Functions:

  • Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, maintain and operate facilities in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures.
  • Perform periodic accuracy tests including the calibration, inspection and maintenance of all equipment related to quality and quantity determination, including but not limited to: Dry flow recorders, EFM’s, USM’s, orifice plates, and meter tubes. 
  • Prepare accurate reports and records of work performed.
  • Install instrumentation and equipment in new and renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities.
  • Assist with facility construction or modification, and other duties as assigned.
  • Inspect and maintain all assigned pressure and volumetric control equipment.
  • Install, remove and audit charts, download, audit and transmit data from electronic measurement devices.
  • Collect gas/liquid samples in compliance with company safety and industry guidelines.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, actively support Health, Environment, and Safety processes, carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner, following safe operating practices, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base.


 
 

Required education:

  • High school diploma or GED

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:


  • Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level a requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience


Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Driving, walking, standing frequently
  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
    Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
