Requirements:

 

·         Self-motivated individual with a high regard for integrity.

·         High School education or equivalent.

·         Vocational Tech certificates or equipment-specific training preferred.

·         Must have good driving record.

·         At least five years of practical, mechanical experience working on rotating equipment.

·         Proven experience with natural gas engines and compressors, preferably on Cooper and Ingersoll Rand.

·         Hands-on Mechanic experience performing preventative maintenance on reciprocating and rotary compressor, gas-fired natural gas        engine / compressor packages.

·         Good organizational skills, good customer relations skills, and a record of very positive work performance.

·         Read and understand repair manuals, procedures and standards.

·         Maintain and adhere to required Company Trainings, Company Policies, and Procedures.

·         Must be a team player; willing to assist in all areas of operation.

·         Ability to work with minimal supervision and lead or direct a work crew.

·         Basic to Advanced Microsoft Office and Outlook computer literacy.

·         Computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing applications preferred.

 

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

 

·         Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience

·         Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience

·         Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience.

 

Working Conditions: 

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.

 

·         Able to work extended hours as required in emergencies, on projects, or outages.

·         Subject to call-out 24/7/365.

·         Physical capabilities of standing, walking, bending stretching, reaching over shoulder height,

·         Frequent heaving lifting up to 75 pounds.

·         Working in an operational setting that may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, which will require appropriate personal protective equipment.

·         Occasional overnight travel may be required.

·         Incumbent must live within 50 miles of the reporting location.
