Mechanic B
- Associates Degree in Natural Gas or Commensurate Experience
- Previous Work Experience- 4 years or more.
- Knowledge of PSM and LDAR programs
- Proven experience with Caterpillar, Ajax & Waukesha engines. Ariel, Gemini & Worthington compressors
- Ability to assume & perform duties and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions.
- Work well with others and also be able to perform work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate sound judgment.
- Make decisions and corrections when problems are detected.
- Have knowledge of safety rules and practices and a very good safety record.
- Have proven mechanical aptitude.
- Good organizational skills, good customer relations skills, and a record of very positive work performance.
- Proven knowledge of plant safety and operation.
- Ability to read and understand repair manuals, procedures, etc…
- Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Work outdoors in all types of inclement weather.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Must be willing to live within an hour of reporting location
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Driving, walking, sitting, bending, stretching, reaching over shoulder height and standing frequently
