Pipeline Tech
Required Education:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Advanced training in pumps, compression, associated controls & instrumentation preferred
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
- Previous work experience – minimum of 5 years
Previous experience in natural gas pipeline transmission systems is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude/mechanically inclined
Training in reciprocating compressors, associated controls & instrumentation preferred
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PLCS
Self-motivated individual with a high regard for integrity and excellent written and verbal skills
Working Conditions:

- Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Driving, walking, and standing frequently
Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
Must maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record
Candidate will be required to take and pass a pre-employment drug test, and will adhere to and is subject to all U.S. Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol related regulations, and will be subject to a background check
Subject to overtime, required to carry a cell phone, and subject to 24/7 call out
Required to work in an on-call rotation with other Team members
Working extended hours required in emergencies, on projects, or outages.
