This position provides pipeline support to Lone Star NGL Pipeline and Storage facility's in and around Mont Belvieu TX.


Essential duties and responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duties satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: 

  • Performs work safely and adheres to all company rules, guidelines and policies.
  • Perform Operational and Maintenance activities necessary to operate assets owned and operated by Lone Star NGL.
  • Work involves assisting with running pigs, operating small portable hand tools and specialty tools for repairing Pipeline and Pipeline station equipment. Interfaces with land owners, reads maps, locates lines and performs One Calls.
  • Maintain records for required state, federal and company procedures.Strong computer skills for internal/external communications, record keeping, online database reporting, GIS mapping, maintenance work order closeouts etc..
  • Assist other technical employees throughout the pipelines and facility locations to complete both capital and maintenance projects.
  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision and must be able to prioritize and thrive in a multitasking environment.
  • Able to obtain a TWIC card and pass DOT related task objects.



Required education:

  • High school diploma or GED

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Must live within 45 minutes of the plant location

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Driving, walking, standing frequently
  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
    Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
