Required education:
  • High school diploma or GED

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

 
  • Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  •  Computer and basic office software experience as well as a strong background in the natural gas industry is desired.
  • Effective written & verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative environment that includes shared responsibilities, establishing & maintaining good working relationships with others, to support company objectives.
  • Candidate must exhibit a sense of urgency, individual responsibility, and willingness to accept constantly changing priorities.
  • Previous work experience in the Natural Gas Industry, locating high pressure gas lines and the ability to work with contractors during construction watches.
 
 
Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Driving, walking, standing frequently
  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
    Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
  •  Must live within 45 minutes of the  Station #18 Orlando, FL location. 
  • Subject to hazardous conditions including escaping gas, adverse weather conditions and temperatures, heights, high-pressure gas, heavy lifting, and cramped conditions. 
  • May be required to travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, and training involving some overnights stays away from home. 
  • Subject to call out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and extended workdays and/or workweeks. 
  • Will be required to carry cell phone and to participate in a rotating on-call schedule. 
  • Must have a proven safe driving record, valid Florida drivers license and subject to U.S. Department of Transportation Drug & Alcohol related regulations. 
  • A strong background in valve and valve operator maintenance and repair would be beneficial well as electronic background with knowledge of transmitters, RTU’s, regulator repair and relief valves.
