Pipeline Technician
Required education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
- Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
- Level a requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience

Computer and basic office software experience as well as a strong background in the natural gas industry is desired.

Effective written & verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative environment that includes shared responsibilities, establishing & maintaining good working relationships with others, to support company objectives, and willingness to work in all areas required by Operations Manager.

Candidate must exhibit a sense of urgency, individual responsibility, and willingness to accept constantly changing priorities.

Highly motivated and 100% dedicated to area/division/corporate goals. Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with fellow employees, Gas Control, Engineering, Division Staff, Landowners, Contractors and Vendors.

Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and schedule work. Subject to hazardous conditions including escaping gas, adverse weather conditions and temperatures, heights, high-pressure gas, heavy lifting, and cramped conditions.

Must be able to work in remote locations, often working alone. May be required to travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, and training.

May require some overnight stays away from home. Incumbent is subject to call out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and extended work-days and/or work-weeks. Required to carry a cell phone and is subject to 24-hr/day callout at any time for emergency response.

Candidate must have a proven safe driving record and provide documentation of past traffic violations upon request, as well as maintain a valid driver's license.

Incumbent will be required to take and pass a pre-employment drug test, and will adhere and is subject to all U.S. Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol related regulations, and will be subject to background check.
Working Conditions:

- Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Driving, walking, standing frequently
- Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment - Occasional overnight travel may be required
