Project Engineer/Project Manager
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- 5+ years related experience in NGL processing, fractionation, pipeline, terminal, and/or refinery environment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be a self-starter, have good organizational skills and be able to accept constantly changing priorities.
- 5+ years Engineering, operations, and/or project experience
- Microsoft products including MS Project
- Engineering programs
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Engineer level requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 3-6 years of relevant job-related experience.
- The Sr. Engineer level requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 6-10 years of relevant job-related experience.
- Liquified Petroleum and OSHA Process Safety Management knowledge
- Familiarity with NFPA-58, NEC, ASME, API and ASTM specifications, standards and recommended practices.
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Overnight travel is required, when necessary to manage projects, up to 25% of work time.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery which will require appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
