QA/QC Inspector- A
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:
The Level III Inspector shall be able to:
Perform inspections in all fabrication shops including receiving, in-process, and final inspection of components (vessel, pipe, and skid), weldments, and assemblies.
OR
Perform inspections on compression unit assemblies, metering skids and various production equipment. This includes verifying acceptability of FAT tests.
Additional Essential Duties Include:
· Documents inspections, including initiating and executing NCRs, reports, checklists, and logs; inputting data into quality database
· Experience in welding or fabricating is required, including the inspection of welds per applicable codes
· Evaluates production for conformity to the latest revisions and specifications (e.g., drawings, ITPs, and procedures)
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
· Minimum High School diploma or equivalent GED
· 5 - 8 years of relevant or related industry experience
· Must be able to work independently
· Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
· Working experience as a welder or fitter
· Working experience as a millwright, pipe fitter, or as an electrician/instrumentation tech
· Has a comprehensive knowledge of ASME, ANSI, ASNT, ASTM, AWS, NACE, API, and SSPC national codes

Working Conditions
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
· Occasionally lifting 50 lbs.
· Standard bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, and reaching will all be required in this position
· Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions, and some heavy lifting
