The Retail Support team performs key functions related to the Retail and AMS work order process. The team opens work orders, ensuring cost center, profit center, and customer data is correct on every work order.  The team also generates sales orders and submits sales orders to AR for invoicing. Maintaining customer rate profiles at a subregional level as well as Retail/AMS analytics are also a team responsibility.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for retail work order support for assigned subregions and business streams. This involves management of retail work orders and sales orders for operations, AMS and shipping/logistics. This position will create work orders and sales orders, managing the end-to-end process and ensuring orders a correct prior to invoicing.  Quality control for all orders are an essential function of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create US03 work orders with correct cost centers, profit centers and customer related data on the orders.

  • Create sales orders with guidance from the project manager to ensure rates and pricing are correct on orders.

  •  Actions may involve working with subregional leadership, supply chain and /or shared services to reconcile outstanding charges on orders.

  • Tracking aged work orders and assisting operations with reconciliation.

  • Report on work order analytics such as work orders by month, days open with no activity, work orders closed by month.

  • Report on sales order metrics for the assigned subregion.

  • Assist in maintaining customer rate matrix at a subregional level.

  • Works closely with AR on sales order to invoice processes.

  • Participates in subregional manager meetings for support related to retail work orders and sales orders.

  • Other duties as needed.

     

Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • SAP and MyWork knowledge.

  • Minimum of 2 work experience in accounting, accounts receivable or operational administrative role.

  • Sound understanding of operational and accounting practices and principles.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Proficient in use of Excel and Word.

  • Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods.

  • Must adhere to the highest standards of ethical behavior when carrying out job responsibilities.

  • Highly motivated and team-oriented individual.

  • Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent organization skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work in multiple systems.

     

 

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

 

Working Conditions:


The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
