Summary
The IT ETRM Manager is responsible for leading a team of IT functional analysts who support and maintain two instances of RightAngle. This position will work closely with the IT ETRM Technical Manager on common team goals, operational efficiencies and work collaboratively on support and development initiatives. This key leadership position requires the ability to develop an effective team, manage multiple initiatives, build/maintain strong business relationships, and facilitate positive and solution-oriented discussions with key cross functional business stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing functional, configuration and modeling expertise in RightAngle for bulk/lease crude, NGLs and refined products
- Assigning, prioritizing, working and managing user incidents and requests while ensuring OLA targets are met
- Facilitating weekly status meetings with business to review and prioritize open incidents and
- Escalation point for afterhours support and responsible for managing the team's on call schedule
- Establishing overall team initiatives and individual team member goals
- Writing annual team member performance evaluations as well as HR communications
- Responsible for vendor issue escalations and communications
- Working closely and collaboratively with internal audit, IT applications/infrastructure and security teams
- Adheres to, enforces, and champions the IT Governance programs (e.g. incident/change management
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology, Information Systems or related area
- 10+ years of RightAngle support or implementation experience
- Experience managing and leading teams (full-time employees and contractors), with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex and cross-functional organizations
- Expertise in front to back office data flow in RightAngle, including Trade Capture, Contract Management, Lease Center, Credit, Risk, Scheduling, Inventory and Settlements
- Working knowledge of industry leading corporate and financial systems (SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC), application architecture, project management, software integration, data management/governance, business intelligence, and/or business process analysis
- Experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies
- A strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while still maintaining high quality standards
- Ability to quickly identify and implement solutions for complex problems
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts and change management procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for problem solving
- Must be able to efficiently direct work activities and independently resolve issues
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the midstream (upstream, downstream) energy industry
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- This position is onsite in our Houston, TX office
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Up to 10% travel to Dallas, TX, Houston, TX or Newtown Square, PA is required.
