Senior Specialist - IT Server Ops
- Several years of architecting backup solutions for Veeam or other backup solutions
- Experience with other backup technologies; such as, EMC Networker, Backup Exec, Baccula
- Experience working with with SCOM, SCCM (specifically server patching), and scripting tools - such as PowerShell, reading and writing scripts
- Experience with automation technologies such as Ansible Tower
- Working knowledge of SQL, Symantec Endpoint Protection administration, Printer Logic, Double Take, Remedy, FTP, Mainframe, DFS, AD 2012 R2 and 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2016, SharePoint, Secure Networks, File Server replacements and migrations.
- Experience with Business Continuity Plans (disaster recovery plans)
- Knowledge or Experience with Solaris 11/RHEL 7
- Any VMWare experience
- Able to think outside the box to solve issues and/or create new solutions
- Great customer service skills
- Be a team player and willing to work in small to large groups as needed
- Able to document processes and procedures
- Possess great work ethic and easy to work with
- Be a self-starter, ambitious, creative thinker, doesn't except status quo and always looking at how to continue to move forward
- Any project management experience or certification is a plus
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
