Specialist - IT Business Application Support
Requirements
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or IT business-related field.
- C#, SQL
- Business, vendor and management liaison experience.
- Enjoy working on a team, and as an individual.
- Positive attitude that promotes good work relationships.
- Excited about learning.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excited about investigating issues and solving business problems with an ability to provide and receive input during problem solving sessions.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL database queries, optimization, SSRS and Crystal Reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for problem solving.
- .NET experience appreciated.
- Experience supporting Oil/Gas pipelines would be appreciated.
- Experience supporting Synthesis application would be a plus.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Senior IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
- The Lead IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
- The Principal IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant job related experience.
Working Conditions

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
