Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience with static and dynamic measurement, product testing, metering, proving, auto in-line samplers, tank calibration, calculations, tank and vessel measurement, and marine operations related to transfer of petroleum.
  • Good understanding of the industry petroleum measurement standards such as API and ASTM and practical experience with applications of API guidelines for custody measurement.
  • Must be able to recognize and troubleshoot measurement discrepancies on the transfers utilizing any methodology, whether dynamic or static.
  • Knowledge of accounting practices, petroleum gain/loss reconciliation.
  • Additional skills may include but not be limited to, cargo inspection procedures, loss control or marine cargo expedition, as well as marine operations related to transfer of petroleum.
  • Strong organizational skills required with emphasis on quality performance.
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Good team player, as well as individual contributor. Consistently takes action, seeks new opportunities, and strives to lead projects to completion.
  • Work Reliability/Quality – strives to eliminate errors, and seeks opportunities to improve product/services. Accurate work performance is essential.
  • Integrity and Trust – honest, accountable, upholds ethics standards and maintains confidentiality.
  • This position will require a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
