Summary: Assist shippers and operators in the daily operations required in the transportation of natural gas on the Florida Gas Transmission system. These responsibilities include nominations, confirmation, allocations and answering any questions that may arise from these areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedules daily nominations on Florida Gas Transmission system
- Interacts with Gas Control and Marketing Reps to effectively schedule the pipeline.
- Tracks customers’ imbalances and enforces burning scheduled nomination request.
- Interacts with Marketing Reps and revenue billing to confirm daily scheduling charges.
- Strives to help the business unit achieve goals set by the Commercial Marketing group and Market Services on a monthly basis.
- Responsible for monitoring the monthly closing of allocations to ensure information passed to Revenue Billing is correct and facilitates correct invoicing of customers.
- Provides necessary information to Gas Control in order to assist in maintaining pipeline integrity and assist the team with volumetric imbalances.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and required to be on-call on a rotational basis for weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor's degree or additional equivalent experience
- Specific years of related experience depending on the level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High skill set in Excel & Word
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job-related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job-related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of natural gas pipeline tariffs, contracts, operations and/or gas accounting.
Working knowledge of FGT's tariff, Messenger + System, Power BI or SAP system is a plus.

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Required to be on-call on a rotational basis for weekends and holidays.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
