Summary:  Provide and lead creative design support to the company's Organizational Excellence (OE) program and Technical Training group. 

Essential Duties & Responsibitlies:  Duties generally consist of but are not limited to the following:

  • -Providing support to the marketing and promotion of OE which includes creating awareness activities and compelling content that enhances retention and transfer
  • - Providing support to the development and roll-out of our Operations Leadership program
  • - Providing support and assistance to the Competence, Tech Training and Awareness program through the preparation, communication, and training / awareness projects
  • - Develop training programs to fulfill customer and user’s specific needs to maintain or improve job skill and competence
  • - Develop presentations that have the ability to vary in format and transfers well between technology platforms to suit customer and audience needs
  • - Lead both virtual and in-person training sessions to both corporate and field personnel with attendance that ranges in size.
  • - Create and/or improve training manuals, guides and course materials
  • - Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development
     

Requirements:  Educational and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements for this position are listed below.

  • - Bachelor's degree or additional equivalent experience plus two years of training experience.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience
  • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • - Strong presentation skills
  • - Skilled in a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
  • - Must have experience with Articulate Storyline and/or Articulate 360
  • - Proven working experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
  • - Experience in evaluating and researching training options & alternatives
  • - Ability to design and implement effective training and development
  • - Instructional design experience
  • - SharePoint editing experience preferred
  • - Dependable and self-motivated
  • - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • - Ability to travel
  • - Team player / collaborative

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

Working Conditions:  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

1.  Usually, nornal office working conditions.

2. Must be able to remain in a staionary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

3. Occasional travel may be required.

4. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
