Specialist - Terminal Quality
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- HS Diploma. Associate degree, preferably in technical discipline preferred
- A minimum of 6 years in Pipeline or Terminal Operations, Quality Assurance or Analytical experience in the oil & gas industry or related field.
- Good knowledge of Quality characteristics or Refined Products, Crude Oil, and NGLs, ASTM and API test methods/standards and pipeline logistics.
- Strong organization and communications skills (verbal and written).
- Solid mathematical and computer skills.
- Ability to effectively work with all levels within the organization in performing duties associated with quality investigations, training, auditing and regulatory compliance issues.
- Must be able to investigate complex quality events and subsequently develop written reports on findings from those investigations that will be utilized by all levels of management up to, and including, the executive management.
- Ability to act independently, with minimal supervision.

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Extensive travel (about 50% of the time) to sites while performing Quality Audits and Training, providing Quality Assurance support and performing quality event investigations, will be required.
- Position is based in industrial/manufacturing settings which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
- May be asked to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
