Sr. Accountant - Financial Reporting
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5 - 8 years of experience
- Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Office suite
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Thorough analytical and research proficiencies, with an attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and proactively to identify and resolve issues
- Able to perform most assignments with minimal supervision
- Oil and gas experience a plus
- Knowledge of SAP and BPC accounting system
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA preferred
Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
1. Usually, normal office working conditions.
2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
3. Occasional travel may be required.
