The role of Senior Analyst – Pricing will be a key member of the Ellis Preserve based Pricing team supporting both the Branded and Unbranded Lead Analysts. The pricing analysts are responsible for pricing 2.8 billion gallons of fuel annually for Sunoco’s branded and wholesale midstream operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform a daily review and analysis of sales, margins and price points by channel, terminal, and product
  • Support operational and sales efforts by providing real time and historical pricing data and insight
  • Support Management & Leads with reports, analysis, presentations, and special projects
  • Handle Customer Care cases related to branded and unbranded pricing related issues
  • Contract review for new DODO accounts and customers
  • Review any pricing issues that are resulting in invoicing delays and errors to improve Order to Cash metrics
  • Calculate and disseminate volume based gasoline/diesel rebates and contractual running considerations for East dealers
  • Assist / research and coordinate with field operations team/ lead pricing analysts and finance to forecast  margin estimates for potential growth volume and new business opportunities
  • Assist in branded rack analytics development and build out in Power BI
  • Complete various ad hoc reports in Right Angle, Power BI, & SAP
  • Price Branded and/or Unbranded Racks when primary analyst is not available
  • Participating in the Saturday rack review schedule rotation


Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math,  Data Analytics or related business field preferred or equivalent work experience in a directly related role
  • 5 – 8 years of analytics and financial analysis or related experience
  • Demonstrated experience and skills with Excel
  • SAP and Power BI experience is preferred but not required

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
